Terez Getz, DO

Dr. Terez Getz began practicing in 2009, with a focus on family medicine and clinical interest in preventive medicine, diabetes management and women's health. She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.Dr. Getz completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA, majoring in zoology, and at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ, majoring in biomedical science. She attended medical school at Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ, and completed her residency at Banner Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, AZ. She is currently a preceptor for medical students at A.T in Mesa, AZ. Still Medical University in Kirksville, MO, was a National Health Corps Scholar, and received the 2022 Phoenix Top Doctor Award.On a personal note, she enjoys traveling around the world, going to sporting events and spending time with her husband and twin sons. She is a big Arizona Cardinals and Phoenix Suns Fan. Originally from Seattle, she moved to Arizona to pursue her career in medicine in 1999 and now considers it home.
